Terms of Service

This page outlines how Kreta actually works so the app can go live, but Kreta hasn't yet approved it as the company's official terms. It will be replaced with Kreta's reviewed text.
The service
Kreta matches you with one other member a week based on shared interests, goals and the Friday times you're both free, and hosts a 30-minute video conversation for that match inside the app.
Your account
You need a working email (or a Google account) to sign up, and you must be at least 18. Keep your login details to yourself, and keep your profile honest — it's what your match sees before you talk.
How matching works
You get at most one match a week, only when you've opted in for that week. Kreta doesn't guarantee a match every week, and the people you meet are chosen by Kreta's matching system, not by you.
Conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, spam, sales pitches disguised as conversation, or anything illegal isn't allowed. You can block or report a match at any time, and Kreta can suspend accounts that break these terms.
Video calls
Calls happen through Kreta's video integration (Daily) and aren't recorded by Kreta. Only you and your matched partner can join a given call.
Changes and availability
Kreta is an evolving service and may change features, or occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. We'll try to give notice for anything significant.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Kreta can suspend or close an account that violates these terms.
